ORIGIN

The Poodle Cat is a new breeding of Dr. Rosemarie Wolf, developed in 1987, in Starnberg (Germany), derived from Devon Rex, Scottish Fold and European Shorthair. It is  now found  in Europe, but it is very difficult breed : these cats, like the Scottish Fold, may suffer skeletal defects. In the future, some breeders want to introduce the tailless trait by crossing the Poodle Cat with the Munchkin Cat.

ASPECT

The Poodle Cat is a medium sized cat. It is large, healthy. Like the Scottish Fold, it exhibits hanging ears. It has a curly, softly short coat like the Devon Rex, but denser. All colors are permitted.

CHARACTER

The Poodle Cats are attractive cats, affectionate, respectful and quiet.

CARE

The Poodle Cat needs a few of care, combing and brushing several times weekly.
